“Being here on the IMD campus, together with 500 other participants, reminded me of the value of being surrounded by like-minded people. It’s been absolutely brilliant”, reflects participant Dr. Ayaz Ismail, Director of Islamic Wholesale Banking at CIMB.

That energy defined Orchestrating Winning Performance 2025. It wasn’t just IMD’s biggest edition to date, it marked 30 years of building leadership that’s fit for the future. For three decades, IMD’s signature program has helped global leaders navigate complexity, lead with purpose, and make meaningful impact where it matters most.

“It’s an entire symphony orchestra. Everybody can choose what they need and want. And that’s exactly what you want to have. I am extremely proud and extremely happy to see that OWP is still going on strong as ever, and I’m sure it will go on for another 30 years too,” says honorary President of IMD and OWP 2025 participant Peter Lorange, the originator of the program.

Under the theme ‘thrive globally in a fragmented world’, participants explored the questions keeping leaders up at night, from AI and disruption to sustainability, geopolitics, and human-centered leadership. Guided by 38 faculty, the experience wasn’t just educational; it was transformational.
