Serpents, Boobies, & Sailing: Ultimate Adventures On Land And Sea! (TSB S1: E37)

Come one come all - its another week of The Sailing Bison!! In this round of adventure, we visit a well known hurricane hole by the name of Don Juan.

There are no hurricanes to hide from at the moment, but still plenty of trouble to get into at that anchorage. We do some rare upwind sailing to start off our day, remembering what its like to tack a 21-ton boat. Then once arrived we go ashore to hike through the desert. With many reports of rattlesnakes on the "trail" we have to keep a close eye out the whole time.

After stretching our legs on land its back to aquatic activities. A friend shows me how easy it is to collect clams in the calm clear waters. And we get back in the dinghy for some fishing. Our afternoon trolling turns wild as we catch a bird! A blue footed boobie none the less.

So come along! Its a grand old time
