For the first time I drove the famous modified auto rickshaw of Khlieh Umrneng in Ri Bhoi. Custom built by Wanbor Kharbudnah, this auto rickshaw got transformed into a mini jeep. Since childhood Wanbor wanted a four wheel car but his parents couldn't afford one. He grew up building several wooden models of trucks and cars which fascinated everyone around. It was until few years ago he bought an old auto rickshaw and started to build his dream car. Though he doesn’t have any equipments of his own, yet it took him 2 months to complete the build with the help of a fabrication garage in Nongjri in Umsning.

The auto rickshaw now has four wheels instead of three with front independent suspensions on both sides. The handlebar is also being replaced by a powered Maruti steering wheel making the built a unique masterpiece. Watch the video as I drive this mini jeep and made people turn their heads seeing this one of a kind modification.
