Cheap bash plates - OCAM 4x4 underbody protection - HGT - Happy Go Travel

First look at our new OCAM 4x4 steal bash plates.
These are 4mm steal and crazy cheap. First impressions are good. When the box arrived I thought I had made a bad decision. It was ratty, damaged but hanging in there. To my surprise when I opened it the bash plates were really well packaged and in perfect condition.

When cutting through the packaging you get the first glimpse of a really decent looking bash plate. The quality seems to be there. They feel solid, look good and not at all like a cheap plate. Checking the thickness they really are 4mm thick. They also come with high tensile hardware.

Fitment wise they use the factory bolt holes and are really easy to fit. I have damaged some of these factory points so I had to improvise a little. I managed to make them work even with a modified stone plate and the old aftermarket transmission plate.

We’ve done 1 trip so far where they took a few hits and they held up perfect, Soo far. If you’re looking for under vehicle protection definitely consider theses.
