How we get to the Badaling Great Wall:
First, We took the tube from Beijing city center to Qinghe train station.
Then, we took a direct train from Qinghe train station to badaling Changcheng station (it takes 20 minutes).

Different climbing route and off-peak path:
The BaDaLing Great Wall is divided into the South Tower and the North Tower.
The South Tower, has less visitors and is relatively easier to climb. The North Tower, especially Beiba Station (the north eighth tower )(北八), located at the highest point, is more challenging to climb but attracts more people.

Do’s and Don’ts
Before heading to the Great Wall, remember to wear comfortable shoes and bring water to stay hydrated.
It's also a good idea to bring your own tissue paper since it's available in the toilets, and the prices at the shops up there can be quite high.

Just a few things to keep in mind:

Drones are not allowed on the Great Wall, so leave them behind.
Also, avoid bringing sunscreen sprays, instead of that, use sun cream, as they may not be permitted due to certain restrictions at the security check.
Lastly, better not purchase items from the shops along the street, as the prices there tend to be unclear.
