Blackstrap Molasses is simply a concentrated by-product from the third boiling in the process of refining sugar cane. it is one of the three kinds of molasses. The other two are unsulphured molasses, which is made from the juice of sun-ripened sugar cane, and sulphured molasses, which is made from young sugar cane with added sulphur.
