In this video I wanted to use the new 2021 14" M1 Max to compare to my old 2016 16" i7 Laptop. The keyboard from the generations of 2016-2020 were all manufactured with the butterfly mechanism which was awful.

The new [technically old] scissor key mechanism was reintroduced and is much better and satisfying to type on.

As a proficient typist and someone who is enthusiastic about their typing speed, a good keyboard makes a big difference!
