Is SALT BAE BURGER a TOURIST TRAP? Nusret's NYC Restaurant Review!

Описание к видео Is SALT BAE BURGER a TOURIST TRAP? Nusret's NYC Restaurant Review!

Everyone with access to the internet knows who Salt Bae is. Saltbae, whose real name is Nusret Gökçe, rose to internet fame in 2017 when the viral Salt Bae video of Nusret sprinkling salt blew up everywhere. He went viral for his Salt Bae salt sprinkling technique and also for his suave Salt Bae cutting meat techniques. Since then, Salt Bae has opened several restaurants around the world, some of the most famous being Nusr-Et Steakhouse in New York City. The NYC Nusr-Et Steakhouse has had mixed reviews since opening in 2018, however, with many critics panning the food, while praising the fun theatrics and presentation of his food. Nusr-Et Steakhouse was too expensive for me and for me it did not seem as if Nusr-Et Steakhouse was worth it due to its exorbitant prices. The $100 Istanbul Steak, the $190 Ottomon Steak, $275 Saltbae tomahawk, the $650 Gold Steak, the $1,100 Golden tomahawk, the $1,250 Golden kafes, the $1,500 Golden ahor, and the $300 Golden burger all seemed extraordinarily overpriced.

That being said, Saltbae Burger seemed to be more reasonably priced. The Saltbae Burger was $22 and it came with fries. It seemed more approachable and reasonably priced and the atmosphere was certainly more inviting and less stuffy. There were still overpriced items on the menu however, such as the Saltbae Baklava Shake ($25), the Golden shake ($75), and the Gold burger ($120). Still, is the food good at Saltbae Burger? Does Turkish chef Nusret Gökçe really create good food or is he just a celebrity chef? Is Nusret Gökçe really a good chef? And is Salt Bae really a good chef? These are the questions we will answer in this video as we review Saltbae Burger! Or as it is also called, #SaltBae
