As described by many Widowmakers in the Overwatch League, now that everyone can more or less land their shots, Widow play becomes increasingly more dependent on how well one's team is able to create opportunities for their sniper and capitalize on the picks being made rather than simply relying on mechanical skill.

Q: As someone who is considered to be one of the Top 3 hitscan players, how do you feel about the discrepancy in the standings? Do you feel that it's a much closer skill level between other players that people give them credit for or do you feel above other players?

Linkzr: "I think individually I don't think anyone is above me, but I think that a lot of the players that I play against in the league are...they are like equal to me you know? The only way for me to beat them is not like with raw aim or pro mechanics, it's outsmarting them too. I think that's where the game is right now. Top tier DPSs, they don't out aim each other anymore. They outsmart each other. They use their team and that's how they get their edge."
