The Boeing 767-300 is the oldest aircraft type in United Airlines' fleet with an average age of 28 years. These planes are still used on multiple routes to Europe and South America and it's not every day you see them flying domestic routes. For a short period between February through May, United was operating the 767-300ER on a daily roundtrip from Houston to Orlando. On my way back from Dallas, I took a slight detour to take advantage of this somewhat rare opportunity. Better yet, this experience was in Polaris Business Class.
