Security tightens ahead of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago next week

Kamala Harris and Tim Walz will be in Chicago this week for the Democratic National Convention to accept their nominations as their party’s presidential and vice-presidential candidates. But the gathering bears many parallels to another convention that was remembered more for what happened outside than the politicking inside.
