In this video I look at ten different preamplifiers, from 600EUR (656USD) to over 17,000EUR! I compare features and performance in some detail because preamplifiers are the pieces of HiFi equipment we interface with the most, be it via an App, a remote control, or by getting out of our chairs and pushing buttons turning dials. But how much should you spend? Is 'expensive' always better? What features are useful and which are not? And why bother with a preamplifier at all?
