This video was taken from Grandstand 6c (Alta Velocita C) during Formula 1 free practice 2 (FP2) on Friday September 5, 2014. There are three grandstands on the inside of the circuit at Prima Variante (6a, 6b, 6c) - this one is the most expensive and has the best view, being closest to the corner. You see the cars approaching the corner, braking for the chicane and then getting on the power at the exit. There is a good view of the large TV screen opposite. Three-day tickets for Alta Velocita C cost a maximum of 470 EUR in 2014 (less with early-bird discounts). Whilst one of the most expensive options at Monza, it's also an excellent choice and does sell out ahead of the race - there is always lots of action at the first corner and from this grandstand, you get a ringside seat. One other thing to note - this grandstand is set quite high off the ground and right behind a section of the old banked Monza circuit, very cool! As with most grandstands at Monza, seats are metal bleachers (so bring a cushion, your rear end will thank you after three days).
