*THE BEST* GEOGRAPHY!!! (Homeschool Unit Study)

The best way I have found for us to study different countries is with Unit Studies! My sons still remember places we've "visited" from years ago.

What we use:
"Passports" to record info on what they've learned
Various resource books
YouTube videos
Recipes
A homemade display page of images

To start planning I make a list of the things that I want to cover in that country, which could be a song, place, recipe, landmark, historical event, etc... Then I compile images (that I print out onto a page to display), videos, books, and other resources (we've done puzzles, crafts, and talked to someone from that country).

When we go to study the country I bring down the display page and we talk about something on it, then move on to videos about it or a hands on activity that goes along.

This has been such a fun and flexible way to learn about other countries and cultures in a memorable way!
