On April 27, President Obama and Graça Machel discussed Nelson Mandela’s legacy and the future of Africa as a part of the Mandela 100 Legacy celebration dinner at the National Museum of African American History and Culture. The conversation was moderated by Lesley Williams, a 2018 Obama Foundation Leaders: Africa participant, and focused on the themes of leadership, activism and improving communities, and the opportunity ahead for young people in Africa.
