Lassen/Shingletown KOA is the best campground by Lassen Volcanic National Park if you want amenities. This campground has it all: pool, wooded grounds, sports courts, large sites with patios, and close access to Lassen Volcanic National Park. We stayed here in our 37' Jayco Seneca during the 3rd week of September 2020 with our kids and dog. We loved this campground and highly recommend for your travels to Lassen Volcanic NP.
