In this video, I react to Dookrai’s breakdown of the Myers rework coming to the PTB in the latest Dead by Daylight Developer Update. The Shape has always been one of the most faithful adaptations in DBD, with his stalking mechanic perfectly capturing the tension and horror of Michael Myers. Unfortunately, these changes feel like they completely strip away what makes Myers feel like Myers.

From the reworked powers to the addon changes, this feels less like the Shape we know and more like another “dashslop” killer, as many in the community have described it. In my reaction, I share why I believe this rework is a huge step backwards, how it fails to respect the original design, and what it could mean for the future of Dead by Daylight’s balance.
