Michael Huestis is a member of the PAS Education Committee and a percussion educator, composer and arranger, performer and clinician. He currently teaches the Prosper Mighty Eagle Band in Prosper, TX. Throughout his career Michael’s bands, percussion ensembles and drumlines have performed at many high-profile locations including the Percussive Arts Society International Convention. Michael is a sought-after composer and arranger, author of the classroom method, “Developing the Percussionist-Musician”, and has presented clinics and master classes at numerous state music education association conventions and universities.
