The Central University of Gujarat (CUG), an institution with NAAC A+ Grade and a Permanent Campus situated at Kundhela, has invited online applications for Ph.D. Programmes for the Academic Year 2025-26. The application window began on 08 October 2025 and the Last Date for submission is 12 November 2025. General Eligibility requires candidates to have successfully completed their Master's Degree Programme (P.G.) as per the UGC 2022 Regulations, or have qualified for the UGC-NET or CSIR-UGC-NET with a valid NET score, in addition to meeting Programme Specific Eligibility Criteria. The application must be submitted online using the URL cugadm dot samarth dot edu dot in. The application fee is ₹1000 for General or OBC (NCL) or EWS categories (for up to two Ph.D. Programmes), and ₹500 for SC or ST or Transgender categories (for up to two Ph.D. Programmes), with PwD candidates being exempt from the fee. The non-refundable fee must be paid again if a candidate applies for a third programme.
