Jin’s segment of Dear Class of 2020 holds true to many things. Go at your own pace; it is the only pace that matters. Comparing with others will always make you feel behind; but focusing on yourself, on what you need, how you’ve grown, is the comfort and encouragement that will nurture you.

(For some, quarantine is still the norm. Quarantine takes a lot out of us - mentally, emotionally, materially. It’s okay not to be productive - it was always so, now even more so. Pace yourself, protect yourself, love yourself.)

Jin has said a wealth of inspiring words over the years and I feel that he has been very constant in his expressions? Changing one’s perspective, taking things a little bit easier, not being greedy of wanting more but pacing oneself, thinking more positively… he has said variations of it. The ones I chose are the ones which I feel are the most coherent + I just like them more heh.
