There are three recipes available in The Duke's Kitchen that require unique, rare meats to make. Each of these meats can be found off specific animals that spawn once you return back to the village from the castle for the first time. There are photographs of these animals that can be found throughout the game, but the photographs are not required for the animals to spawn. They will always be there.
