This is the longplay of the game Brutal Mario (鬼畜 王 マ リ オ Kichiku Or Mario Lit: Brutal King Mario), also known as Super Kitiku Mario and even Devil King Mario, is a Super Mario Rom hacked by a mysterious Japanese Rom-hacker who goes by the name of Carol.

This game is well known among the Super Mario World hacks, as a very different game, with a large amount of custom bosses and ASM gimmicks, with its development being started when such things were but a dream in the SMW hacking scene. In addition, this hack contains many custom bosses and references to games like Final Fantasy, Twinbee, Kirby, Mega Man, Cho Aniki.

This video comprises Demo 7, the best known and longest version of the game. The game is incomplete and the stages named "to be continued" can only be accessed via a Game Genie code: 7E143401
