Visiting Milford Sound was one of our favorite things we did on the south island of New Zealand! It is BREATHTAKING everywhere you look! We will forever recommend this place as a must see on the south island. The 2 hour drive in from the town of Te Anau is also gorgeous and you could spend days exploring the area. Absolutely other worldly. We can't wait to get back here someday!!

We took two 90 minutes cruises in Milford Sound, we highly recommend both companies. Juicy had a much larger ship with more viewing platforms but Cruise Milford had a small ship and fewer people which was better for photography. Both are great!
