躲懶成功，去了 Stanley Park，沿着 Sea Walk 行，賞心樂事，不過遇到老虎，是秋老虎 (不好意思，是我的爛 gag)。來到溫哥華之後，全年我都是穿 cashmere，貪其透氣度高，冷時可以 trap 住體溫，熱時相當通風。自以為略懂物料，這次被秋老虎熱到了，我是老貓燒鬚吧 : )
這個歌集中的兩首詩歌都名為 "Indian Summer"。一首由男詩人 William Wilfred Campbell 所寫，另一首是女詩人 Susanna Strickland Moodie 的作品。Campbell 多產，作品廣為人知；Mrs Moodie 算是 Campbell 的前輩，她的作品不多，卻是我個人的心水選擇。她的 The Fisherman’s Light 是這個頻道的第一首歌，希望你也會喜歡 : )
今次的咖啡廳音樂集，我刻意製作了幾首較 upbeat 的歌曲，因為太陽實在猛烈，感覺 upbeat 才能表達出那種強度！

Managed to take a lazy day and went to Stanley Park, walking along the Sea Walk—such a pleasure. But I ran into a ‘tiger’—an autumn tiger (sorry, that’s my bad joke). Ever since I moved to Vancouver, I’ve been wearing cashmere all year round because it’s breathable, traps heat when it's cold, and stays airy when it's hot. I thought I knew materials well, but this time, the autumn heat got me—guess I’m not as sharp as I thought : )
Both poems in this playlist are called “Indian Summer”. One is by the male poet William Wilfred Campbell, and the other by the female poet Susanna Strickland Moodie. Campbell was prolific, and his works were widely read. Mrs Moodie was his predecessor, and though she wrote fewer works, she’s one of my personal favourites. Her poem “The Fisherman's Light” was the first song I posted on this channel — hope you like it too : )
I intentionally made several upbeat songs for this playlist because the sun was so strong, and I felt that upbeat music would better capture its intensity!
