Edelweiss - The Sound Of Music soundtrack

Описание к видео Edelweiss - The Sound Of Music soundtrack

Cover of a show tune from the 1959 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical "The Sound of Music". It is named after the edelweiss (Leontopodium nivale), a white flower found high in the Alps. The song was created for the 1959 Broadway production of "The Sound of Music" and prominently featured in the successful 1965 film of the same name (known as "La Novicia Rebelde" in Spanish-speaking countries), starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer as a song for the character Captain Georg von Trapp.
Edelweiss turned out to be one of the most beloved songs in the musical, as well as one of the best-loved songs by Rodgers and Hammerstein.
