Why I Used My POD GO with a Live Band (instead of my EVH amp)

You're going to hear me playing some music you're not used to hearing me play.

There's nothing like being on the stage with a live band. And I decided to use my Line 6 POD Go for this gig instead of bringing my EVH 5150 III amp.

In the video, I share my two big reasons why. And I also share some thoughts on whether I'll use it again over my real amp for a live band situation.

To be fair, this really isn't a true comparison of the POD Go vs a real tube amp. But you will hear the difference between the two, and I'll reveal my true thoughts at the end of the video.

All that said, I had a great time playing with The Southern Creek Band, and a big thank you to the frontman and my good friend Brian, and the entire band for letting me fill in.
