Ghanaian women in a small village called Tawura in the Central region of Ghana Africa cooked a local Ghanaian food native to the Fante people. This dish is popular among Akans its called Ampesi. Its probably the most popular dish aside fufu in Ghana. it was tasty and the local farm produce used made all the difference. West African Cooking in General produces an array of flavour with most dishes, should you visit any west African country be sure to try at least one local dish.
