The Balochistan High Court has postponed the hearing on the constitutional petition against the PECA Amendment Act for three weeks. A two-member bench, led by Acting Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmad Swati and Justice Aamir Rana, heard the case. The Attorney General has been summoned under Article 27-A. The controversial PECA Act was challenged by BUJ, the Balochistan Bar Council, and human rights organizations.
