In this video, I discuss the basic principles of major types of variable transformation and show a few comparisons of them using R. These transformations include: mean-center & standardization, square, square root, inverse, and log and natural log (ln). In later videos, I will go deeper into mean-centering & standardization and then squares with polynomials.
