We weren't sure if the car was looking for ransom. We let it know that we had no more money, but what we did have were a very particular set of skills. Skills we had acquired over many years of shenanigans. Skills that will give it nightmares and if it let Michael go, that would be the end of it. But if it didn't let him go, we would look for it, we would find it, and we would kill it.
