Bless God I have a new kidney!!

Got the call for a kidney on Wednesday afternoon just as I pulled into dialysis! Wednesday the 14th. I dialized, then went home to pack up for the trip. I was told the kidney “was local” and to be there by 0100 Thursday morning.

We wait……

At one point we were told. It was cancelled then we panicked a bit. Turns out it was a glitch in the schedule…..we still wait.

Finally Friday morning the 16th it was time to roll to the o.r. And now I have a transplant!!

God bless you all, all the faithful prayers thoughts and support. Now we move forward to care for this kidney which is a special gift beyond measure!!
