This song means so much to me. I have wanted to write a song about the western way of life for many years but haven't ever been able to capture it in a way that didn't feel "cheesy" to me. I took my idea to Becca Rae, my friend and co-writer here in Nashville, and together we wrote "Cowboys Won't". We recorded a work-tape of it on our iphone's that day, and I must have listened to it 40 times on my way back home.

I hope ya'll enjoy this one as much as I do. The west isn't dead ya'll...far from it. It is alive and well and thriving with cowboys, cowgirls, ranchers, farmers, and so many good folks out there workin hard, playin hard and lovin on their people.
