OEX PUMA II TENT REVIEW | ISLAND WILD CAMP

This was the maiden voyage for myself and Candice's new 2 person tent, the OEX PUMA II. We decided to take it somewhere familiar for it's first outing so we returned to the small river beach near the yacht club on Canvey Island in Essex.

We arrived really late and got the tent set up with no issues and got a campfire going in my Ikea cutlery tin. No set up issues with the tent despite the wind.

We coudn't find many if any faults with the tent, it ticks all the boxes for both of us. We slept really well in it, it's very well ventilated yet keeps you warm. Looking forward to taking it out in winter, there's enough space inside for both of us to wait out the bad weather comfortably. I would actually relish being tent bound in this shelter!

I saw it going very cheap on eBay and had to get it. We've been using our Vango Nevis 200 for while now and love it but I felt it was time to change it out for something different and experiment.
