Since the top score on Advanced was only 10 million I thought I would have less problems with late-game lag on Advanced mode, but I quickly lost most of my gold shrines and the waves started pouring in so quickly that I ended up getting the same 1 FPS chaos as I did on the normal mode, only it happened much faster and I did die much quicker.

Due to the faster gold shrine losses (the loss of each one resulting in 10% faster wave spawn) to get to virtually the same wave (1050, 1400, who's counting?) it took me 7 hours less on Advanced mode, leading into almost the same exact same scenario when I died (the top wave got stuck on the middle top shrine, I held on against flyers with ember spirits and a handful of well of souls, until a few units killed my core under 1FPS) and unfortunately that included the not putting my score on the scoreboard at the end.
