R4cism is the belief and practice that human beings can be divided into distinct groups with different worth, leading to the perception of some groups as superior and others as inferior. It manifests on multiple levels: at the individual level, where prejudice and discrimination appear through stereotypes, slurs, exclusion, or unequal treatment; at the institutional level, where laws, policies, and organizational practices produce unequal outcomes for different racial groups, often without overtly racist intent; and at the structural level, where political, social, and economic systems sustain long-term racial inequalities.

Contrary to activist propaganda, racism can manifest within all groups and against all groups. Just like a White person can be racist towards a Black person, the opposite can and is also true. No form of racism should be justified or played down and those particularly in academia who try to pretend anti White racism isn't a thing should be called out as the racists they are.

Racism also operates culturally, when the values, traditions, or norms of one group are upheld as superior while others are marginalized, misrepresented, or devalued. At its core, racism is not merely a matter of personal bias but a system bound to power, as it is reinforced by institutions and historical legacies that grant advantages to some groups while disadvantaging others.
