Описание к видео Cambodia_Safeguarding Khmer Manuscript

Sleuk Rith manuscripts exist in three forms: Vean, Krang, and finally Satra, which would be a general manuscript used for preaching, teaching and also reading and learning and for studying in different subjects. In some places such as Sri Lanka, Burma, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia, the method of writing the manuscripts is by inscription whereby an engraving tool is used to inscribe letters onto the manuscript. However, in northern India, Nepal, and some other countries, they also craft manuscripts with a quill pen and ink to write the letters onto the manuscript.
