Šimon Pánek reports from Jinderis in northern Syria and thanks everyone who has contributed to the SOS Earthquake Syria and Türkiye Emergency Appeal.

During the initial stages of our relief efforts, we distributed food, water and hygiene kits and helped people find temporary shelter. Now we're focusing our efforts on funding activities to rebuild the devastated city. Our Cash for Work system is an example of this. Using this system, locals can earn a daily wage from clearing out and sorting through the debris left behind by the earthquake, making way for reconstruction and recovery to begin.
