Moship’s debut track, “A2E”, featuring psychedelic historian Michael Horowitz, dropped on the 80th anniversary of Bicycle Day—a tribute to Dr. Albert Hofmann, who famously discovered LSD-25 and embarked on a mind-expanding journey home on his bicycle.

Colin Angus & The Legacy of Psychedelic Music
Colin Angus, a Scottish musician, lyricist, and entheogen advocate, gained global recognition with The Shamen, pioneers of psychedelic dance music in the late '80s and '90s. Their hit single with Terence McKenna cemented their influence in the rave and electronic scene.

The Origins of Moship
Colin and Digital Habitat first crossed paths at a Violetta performance at St Pancras Old Church before collaborating remotely. The duo’s creative synergy led to the formation of Moship during the lockdown era, blending their distinct backgrounds to craft hypnotic, futuristic soundscapes.

Michael Horowitz & The Psychedelic Connection
Michael Horowitz, an American writer, editor, and psychedelic historian, is best known for curating Timothy Leary’s archives and co-editing works on Aldous Huxley, counterculture literature, and psychoactive substances. The lyrics to A2E are derived from a speech he delivered at the 2006 World Psychedelic Forum in Basel, paying homage to Albert Hofmann’s legacy.
