Bandana is a piece of triangle cloth that people wear on the head to protect the hair from sun and wind. Recently, it becomes trending and people wear it as a matching accessory with their outfit. What's more? You can totally make it yourself!

To crochet this flower bandana, you’ll have to make 15 flower granny squares and 6 granny triangles, each of which is half of the square. In the tutorial, I’ll use a kind of thick/ worsted weight yarn, which I usually use for my amigurumi project. The purpose is for you to see the crocheting steps clearly. However, please take note to choose a LACE WEIGHT YARN for a lightweight texture, which is the key factor for your bandana project to be successful.

Using 2.75mm hook, my bandana is 48cm long and 24 cm wide. It is recommended to make a gauge before starting the project.

My crochet tutorial is explained in US terminology. It requires super basic skills of how to crochet a single crochet (sc), double crochet (dc), treble crochet (tr), crochet stitches together, how to start a crochet project with a Magic Ring (MR), make a slip stitch etc.
