President William Ruto has launched a comprehensive ten year policy aimed at safeguarding the rights and dignity of Kenya’s ethnic minorities and indigenous peoples. Addressing over five thousand community leaders and representatives, the President also unveiled the National Policy on Ethnic Minorities, Indigenous and Marginalized Communities (2025–2035), describing it as a transformative blueprint that shifts the country from recognition of minority rights to concrete action.
