Lightroom v12 expands greatly in the old select subject masking option to provide the additional ability to locate features like skin, hair, lips, iris, sclera, and eyebrows. Using the masks we can use a range of tools like contrast, clarity, texture, colour temperature and tone settings to do a very high level of non-destructive retouching.

It is not mentioned in this tutorial but the 'detecting people' will find multiple people in an image that you can also select between.

In hindsight I do not think you really need to leave calibration turned on when creating a preset. The process version is the important thing and that is already selected and you cannot deselect it.
