Adagio from Bach's E Major Sonata, BWV 1016

The Adagio from from Bach's Sonata in E Major for violin and obligato harpsichord is a beautiful, dream-like movement, where the lush harmonies and thick harpsichord texture underpins the soaring violin melody. A real love duet, both parts are independant but entwine seamlessly, showcasing Bach's elegant writing.

The complete album, "The Art of Obligato" will be launching on Friday 22nd November and we are are so excited to share it with you all 🎻
