Caged Fury Archstaff is awesome.

Forced Hatchet is also awesome but very awesome for Assassin.

Iraklis can carry you through the entire game as Warrior.

The 3 elemental swords for Mystic Knight are essential. You only need Fire, Ice and Lightning. The Swords are easier to get, and easier to upgrade compared to Maces and also the Swords can be shared among Assassin, Fighter and Mystic Knight while the Maces are exclusive to Mystic Knight.
