Описание к видео New York METS at Cincinnati REDS 10/4/99 Original ESPN Broadcast

1999 MLB NL Wild Card Playoff Game Cincinnati Original ESPN Broadcast with Jon Miller and Joe Morgan recorded and Digitalized off the original recorded VHS tape, and has recently been restored. There are other versions of this playoff game here on Youtube (like the lame ass Classic Mets games with the huge watermark reminding us) but since this is off the original recorded tapes right out of my personal recorded archives including an upgraded audio track underneath has been added to the now historic playoff game of 1999 for the NL Wildcard spot, as Al Leiter pitches an outstanding memorable game in this 163rd game of the season for both teams with a sold old crowd at Riverfront all charged up , but so were the Mets as they take an early 2-0 lead in the first inning of Reds starter right-hander Steve Parris as Rickey Henderson lead off line drive hit to right followed by Edgardo Alfonzo's 27th HR of the 1999 season to straight away center field and the bomb from Alfonzo was all New York needed to advance to the Wildcard as Al Leiter pitches a complete game shutout pitching a gem, giving up only two hits while striking out 7 while walking 4. Rickey Henderson goes 2 for 5 including a lead off HR in the 5th inning his 12 of the season. Mets advance and move on to face Arizona in the 1999 National League Division Series
Al Leiter with the win (13-12) and Steve Parris gets the loss (11-4)
Includes ESPN coverage post game celebration and interviews
