Reliance Jio this week announced a new triple cashback offer that promises to give its Prime members up to Rs 2,599 on every recharge of Rs 399 or above. This, Jio says, is an offer that is over and above the existing Prime tariff plans. But the triple cashback offer can be a little difficult to wrap your head around given the specificities involved.

Like with all exciting offers, the triple cashback comes with certain terms and conditions that need to be met to avail the cashback. As the name of the offer suggests, there are three ways to avail the cashback and we break it down for you so that it becomes a little easier to understand exactly what the telcos is offering and whether it is actually as attractive as the company makes it sound.

Jio triple cashback offer explained:
The triple cashback is a limited offer that begins on November 10 and can be availed up to November 25.
The offer promises up to Rs 2,599 as cashback voucher on every recharge of Rs 399.
There are three ways to avail the cashback - vouchers on Jio tariff plan recharge, cashback on recharge via partner wallets and vouchers from e-commerce partners.
In the first method, Jio will offer 100 per cent cashback worth Rs 400 on every Jio tariff recharge of Rs 399 or above. The Rs 400 cashback will be split into 8 vouchers of Rs 50 each, which the company says will be provided instantly in your MyJio account, and can be redeemed from November 15, 2017.
Note that you will only be able to redeem one voucher at a time to deduct Rs 50 in future recharges .
In the case of partner wallets like Paytm, AmazonPay, AxisPay, FreeCharge, Mobikwik and PhonePe, Jio will instantly provide up to Rs 300 as cashback on every recharge of Rs 399 and above via these wallets. The instant cashback will be credited to the user's wallet and the voucher amount will vary depending on the wallet and code used.
Notably, Jio is offering more cashback for new customers as compared to existing customers. MobiKwik will offer Rs 300 for new users (Code - NEWJIO) and Rs 149 for existing users (Code - JIO149). Axis Pay is offering Rs 100 and Rs 35 for new and existing customers, respectively. Similarly, Amazon Pay is offering Rs 99 (new) and Rs 20 (existing), PhonePe is offering Rs 75 (new) and Rs 30 (existing), Paytm will give Rs 50 (Code - NEWJIO) and Rs 15 (Code - PAYTMJIO) and Freecharge is offering Rs 75 (Code - JIO75) and Rs 50 (Code - JIO50).
Apart from the two cashbacks, Jio is offering additional discounts wherein Jio Prime users will get shopping vouchers from partners that include AJIO, Yatra.com and RelianceTrends.com.
AJIO vouchers will get customers Rs 399 off when shopping for a minimum of Rs 1,500 at ajio.com. Jio Prime users can get a discount of Rs 1,000 on all round trip domestic flights booked via yatra.com during the offer period. Lastly, the RelianceTrends voucher will get Jio Prime users instant discount of Rs 500 for purchases worth Rs 1,999 and above via reliancetrends.com.
