Landscape Photography Ireland Clare The Heart of the Burren (VLOG #10)

Join me in the world renowned Burren, Co Clare in search of landscape, forest and flora photographic compositions. This video is part of a series in which I travel along the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland photographing the landscape of this magical country - it's coast, mountains and valleys.

This time around I find a unique Scot's Pine forest, photograph the flowers of the Burren in early May and climb the iconic Mullaghmore mountain. Were these hills the Misty Mountains of Lord of the Rings? Tolkien was fascinated by the the Burren and there is little doubt that the famed trilogy was inspired in part by this magical landscape.
