In this video Ray teaches us how to find the After repair value of a property. You need to know how to calculate this before going out to wholesale and or flip houses. There are many websites you can use to calculate it such as Zillow, Redfin, and propstream BUT nothing compares to using the MLS. The MLS is for real estate agents but you can still use the other sites to get the ARV.

There are many do’s and don’ts when it comes to calculating this number and Ray goes over them to prevent you from locking up a deal that is really not a deal. He explains why we shouldn’t cross major roads, change school districts, look at different property types, and how we should compare home prices with ones that have already sold when comping properties. The screen recording in the video really helps to fully grasp and understand how to comp a property correctly.
