Vandiperiyar POCSO Case: Court Slams Kerala Police For Botched Up Investigation | Kerala

On Thursday, a POCSO court acquitted the prime accused, 21-year-old Arjun, for lack of evidence. What stood out was that Judge V Manju devoted a separate 4-page section called ‘Defects in the Investigation’ that had some harsh words for Kerala Police and the investigating officer.
In the face of mounting criticism about the botched-up investigation Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan himself had to step in.
