Maya Bay is the most beautiful beach in Thailand and is often misspelled as Maya Beach. Maya Bay is located on the island Koh Phi Phi Leh / Koh Phi Phi Lee, which is part of the Phi Phi islands group in Thailand. The movie The Beach with Leonardo DiCaprio made Maya Bay internationally famous.

Maya Bay is located in the protected Hat Noppharat Thara - Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park and in the year 2022 Maya Bay opened again to tourists, after being closed for 3 years due to overtourism, which led to heavy damage of the beach, marine life, and national park. Maya Bay can only be reached by boat and is mostly visited during a half day tour or full day tour from the main island Koh Phi Phi Don.

Visitors are not allowed to swim at Maya Bay / Maya Beach.

Ticket price: 400 Thai Baht (national park entry fee)
