Making a DIY Dust Port for My Circular Saw! || Makita 5007MG

In this woodworking tool tip video, I'm making a DIY dust port for my circular saw! The Makita 5007MG circular saw is amazing except for the lack of a dust port. This is a great circular saw for woodworking except for one thing, it has no dust port so you end up making a mess of your shop every time you use it. Well, I fixed this issue by adding a dust port from a similar saw.

With this new dust port installed, I was able to add an adapter for my DeWalt dust extractor and now I can suck up most of the dust with every cut.

Proper dust collection on your woodworking tools will not just keep you shop clean, it will also help keep the dust out of your lungs.
